NAVARINO NATURE CENTER Navarino Nature Center is located 10 miles south of Shawano in the Navarino Wildlife Area. The nature center building features exhibits, a meeting room, classroom, and is open Mondays & Fridays from 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM. Special events are offered seasonally free to the public. The center maintains 14 miles of hiking trails for use from Spring thru Fall, for hiking, bird watching, and nature exploring. These trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
MENOMINEE CASINO-BINGO-HOTEL Is open 24 hours a day. Located five miles north of Shawano on Highway 47/55 in Keshena. The facility offers more than 840 slots, video poker, and 12 blackjack table games. There’s also a gift/smoke shop. The Forest Island Restaurant will satisfy any appetite with a daily buffet.

ATV TRAILS The Embarrass River ATV Park is a 580 acre park in Tigerton that has been developed as a multi-purpose park with emphasis on ATV trails. With about 20 miles of trails, this park offers terrific ATV trails with the "Riverside Challenge Area" giving riders the opportunity to test their skills on speed, jumps and turns. The Embarrass River ATV Park also sponsors Spring, Summer and Fall Motor competitions each year.
